Dad was my best friend, he always knew how to make every situation better. Will miss his great sense off humour and his kindness. I will be forever grateful that I had him as my dad.

Grandad, you are the best grandad and great grandad that anyone could have. You gave us happiness, laughter and joy. You are now finally free to spread your wings. Finally enjoy the time being back with Nan but make sure you tell her that we all miss and love her. I wish Teddy and Hudson got to have a bit more time with you but don’t worry we will tell them lots of stories about you as they grow up. You gave us so many happy memories, like the time me and Nicola locked you in the shed and forgot you was in there till Nan went looking for you, hearing you shouting for help in the garden, we will always find that moment funny. You’ll still laugh about it now. You always gave the best sleepovers and made sure we was never bored. Always taking us to the park and shops, having little trips out and about. You always made sure everyone had a drink in their hand when coming to visit but don’t worry grandad everyone will be having a drink on the day we say see you again one day. We will miss and love you everyday but for now go and be with Nan as we all know how much you’ve missed her
